Donations of Equipment and Research Materials

Our organization was founded upon the generosity of our community, with donations of video gear, library materials, videotapes, electronic components, spare parts and so much more. While we cannot accept everything due to storage space limitations, we are interested in finding new homes for materials that could be used to support artistic production, tool building and research of our residents or in exhibitions.

Equipment & Library Wishlists

While we are open to different kinds of donations offers, we are particularly interested in donations of the following materials:

• Video Synthesizers
• Cables - Always! RCA, HDMI, 1/4", 1/8", BNC, adapters, etc.
• Tripods - Fluid head and 3-way tripods are especially useful (Good tripods are especially needed - send tripods!)
• Alternative imaging devices - medical imaging, microscope cameras, multi-spectrum cams, etc.
• Video cameras and lenses - interested in professional and consumer, HD & SD, toy cameras, high speed cameras, GoPro, etc.
• Analog/Digital audio synthesizers - Modular or stand alone
• Current and historic books such as monographs, how-to books, and media history or criticism in the field of media art
• Periodicals
• DVDs, tapes, records, and other time based media art
• Instruction or repair manuals for video, audio, and other relevant machines
• Show cards, posters, sketches, and other ephemera
