Emma Dickson is fascinated by outdated technology and the process of translation and obsolescence in technical languages. They love working with Time Based Media,

especially digital art, and executed the 2016-2017 restoration of BRANDON a 1998-1999 piece of netart by Shu Lea Cheang. Their projects are primarily net art and new media

sculptures that explore identity, community, and longing through tech.

 

Emma lives in Durham North Carolina where they skate with Bull City Roller Derby under the name, Georgia Oh Queef and are employed as a Data Scientist/Developer with IBM.
