My name is You Qi, I was born in Beijing, China in 1988. I started to draw when I was 6 years old. In 2012 I got an opportunity to bring my works to the United States. In a  two years Master program at Alfred University, I expanded my thoughts and exploration in the languages of video and sound. I have shown my works at Anthology Film Archives, Seattle Institute, New Filmmakers Cooperative, The Cinema Museum, Streaming Festival. Recently I finished an experimental documentary for artist William Wegman, I am excited about the dialogue between artist and artist in this limited duration.
