Teresa Retzer

Teresa Retzer studied art history and philosophy. Her research is focused on contemporary art practices and media theory that engage with the influence of digital infrastructures on society such as discussing conventional and new strategies of knowledge production and representational systems within everyday media, politics, and art. Besides art and cultural production she also concentrates on right-wing

extremist subcultures in Germany and Europe. Next to her scientific work she published art criticism in several art magazines, including Mousse Magazine, Bordercrossings, Art Papers and Arte Review. Teresa interprets art writing as a possibility to engage with socio-political problems.
